My name is Rachael and I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Jonathan, for 23 years. We have served in ministry together our entire marriage, whether on staff or in volunteer ministries in various capacities. Jonathan has served in worship ministry for over 25 years and currently is on staff at Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo TX.
We have 5 amazing kids together, 3 boys and two girls. I have homeschooled them for the past 12 years, with our oldest graduated in 2022. I serve as the President of our local homeschool organization, PCHEA (Panhandle Christian Home Educators Association). I am also a Realtor in the Texas Panhandle for the past 8 years, where I love helping people in their real estate needs.
I love cooler weather, baking bread, vacationing in the mountains, and serving in ministry with my husband. I have a heart to encourage other women in their walk with Christ. God has been pulling me from my comfort zone recently with speaking engagements to share the story God has given me.
In my new blog “Goodness Unveiled”, we will discuss homeschooling, ministry, and homemaking, but primarily focus on seeing character of God in daily life. This is something that was birthed from an especially hard season where our oldest son was severely burned in an accident, and then diagnosed with brain cancer 15 months later. God revealed Himself to us in such a mighty way and I want to encourage others to see His unchanging character through both the joy and pain in this earthly life.
